Exhibit Development
As an experienced curator and scholar with extensive interdisciplinary knowledge, I create museum and library exhibitions on a wide array of historical and scientific topics.
I have worked on all stages of exhibit development, from the first glimmer of an idea to the last nail in the wall and beyond. I have particular expertise in shows that cross disciplinary boundaries to combine history, science, and art.

For larger projects, I have access to a network of other talented professionals, including curators/exhibit developers, researchers, subject matter experts, and exhibition and graphic designers.
Fees for exhibit work are determined by project, and can be billed on an hourly or daily basis, or as a monthly retainer fee for longer-term projects. Please contact me if you have questions or would like more information.

- Researching and selecting items for display and loan, including: artworks in all media, rare books and manuscripts, maps, historical artifacts, natural history specimens, scientific instruments, etc.
- Researching, writing, and editing exhibit scripts, interpretive signage, and object labels
- Developing content for digital interactives and web exhibitions
- Editing catalogues
- Providing content for press releases, brochures, and other marketing materials
- Providing content for exhibit websites
- Collaborating on exhibit design and public and educational programming
